7.4 magnitude earthquake hits Indonesia
One person was killed on Thursday after a powerful 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Indonesia. According to a search and rescue official, the tremors were felt strongly in and around Manado. “The quake was felt strongly around Manado. One person died and another suffered a leg injury,” official George Leo Mercy Randang told AFP.The quake was centered in the Molucca Sea at a depth of 35 kilometers (22 miles), the US Geological Survey said.This is a developing story.
