Marvel adds three new untitled movies to release slate for 2028 and 2029; Fans call it ‘Phase 7’ |
After the record-breaking trailer launch of the Tom Holland-led ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, Marvel Studios has sent fans into a spin by adding three new films to its release slate. In a newly unveiled slate of release dates for upcoming films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, three untitled Marvel film slots were added to its calendar: July 28, 2028; May 4, 2029; and July 13, 2029. While no titles have been officially confirmed, fans speculated that the announcement could just signal its roadmap beyond the current Multiverse Saga, which is expected to conclude with ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ in 2027. Director Ryan Coogler confirmed the project is his next film and will follow the events of ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’.
