Rapper Desiigner arrested on charges of domestic abuse
The rapper was arrested by police on third-degree domestic violence charges, according to reports shared online by TMZ. The incident occurred around 11:30 AM on Monday in South Carolina.According to the report, Horry County police took him into custody. He was released the following afternoon after posting bail. His bond was set at USD 1500. The report states the victim cited that Desiigner came home and slammed things around, threw his car keys, and yelled before the altercation became physical. The mother of his child also alleged that when she tried to leave to get her luggage, which she had accidentally left at the airport, he became angry, took her car keys, and tore her sweatpants. He then put their child in the car. When she tried to intervene and stop him, he threw her to the ground in front of their home. The incident is dated to have occurred on March 2.As per the allegations, she also state that because of the physical altercation, she suffered scratches on her lower back and arm.As of right now, the musician is awaiting his bench trial, set for May 6. Since the incident, the rapper has been extremely active on social media. The music video for one of his latest tracks, ‘Relax’, was also released only two days ago. The rapper or his legal representatives have not yet issued a formal statement about the arrest.
