Natasha Lyonne has made headlines after a chaotic airport scene left her escorted off a flight, causing her to miss a scheduled visit to ‘The Drew Barrymore Show.’ Eyewitnesses detail that the ‘Poker Face’ actress remained uncooperative with the flight crew and declined to close her laptop, before choosing to leave the plane on her own.

‘Poker Face’ actress Natasha Lyonne recently made headlines after it was reported that she was escorted off one of her recent flights. The star recently took to her social media account to finally address the matter and talk about what happened.

Taking to her official social media page, the famed actress talked about her recent airport incident. While she did not go into too many details about what had happened to her, she briefly quipped about the event and commented on the TSA agents present at the airport.Her post read, “My heart is with all the unpaid TSA agents at our airports. Sure was looking forward to speaking honestly with @DrewBarrymore yesterday but guess wasn’t in the cards.” The famed actress was supposed to star on Drew Barrymore’s talk show; however, due to being escorted off the flight, she was unable to reach the event on time.

What happened to Natasha Lyonne?

Lyonne recently attended the premiere for ‘Euphoria’ season 3 along with many other celebrities. Hours later, Page Six reported that the star was escorted off a flight from Los Angeles to New York City. As per the report, the actress seemed “out of it” and was not responding to any of the flight attendants. She had her laptop open in front of her; however, even after multiple attempts, she did not respond and refused to close her laptop.Not only that, but at one point, she got scared and shocked by the flight attendants, and had said “Ah! You scared me!” to them. After a while, the device was taken from her, and the flight was all set for takeoff. However, moments later, the plane was called back to the gate. One of the staff members then asked her whether she needed medical attention or not. The ‘American Pie’ actress asked where they were, and was informed by the staff that they had not left LA, and would be unable to do so until she boarded the plane. She had then gone to a nearby washroom, gotten out, eaten a bag of pretzels, and voluntarily gone with the staff members when she was escorted off the plane. Later on, the pilot apologized to the remaining passengers and made an announcement. He stated, “We have a passenger who for whatever reason … wouldn’t follow some basic commands … We had a passenger who didn’t seem up to the task tonight so that’s why they were asked to be booked on another flight — I do apologize for the inconvenience, but we will get you to New York as quickly and as safely as possible.”
