The ‘Saiyaara’ team is coming together again. Ahaan Panday is reportedly set to star in Mohit Suri‘s forthcoming romantic drama. Suri has completed the storyline for his latest project, a romantic comedy centered on an older man and a younger woman. However, it didn’t work out with the actor he initially considered. Mohit has previously mentioned his wish to collaborate with Ranbir Kapoor. Aditya Chopra proposed developing another rom-com with Ahaan. With Ahaan’s next film being an action thriller where he plays a gangster, the producer anticipates that fans will love seeing the pair reunite.

During a recent chat with Variety India, Suri shared his eagerness to team up with Kapoor, mentioning they had already met. “I genuinely want to work with him and I hope he feels the same way about me. I went to meet him to discuss and intend to work together,” he said, adding that Kapoor brings the “depth and layered nuances that my kind of films need. But no, there is no Ranbir Kapoor in my film, at the moment. I wish there was.”

Reportedly, though several actors were rumored for his coming project, Ahaan Panday is now confirmed in the lead. The director is currently tweaking the script to match Ahaan perfectly. Shooting is slated to begin by year-end.
