NFL Trade Rumor: Kansas City Chiefs could add $120M ex Miami Dolphins offensive weapon to support Patrick Mahomes | NFL News
The Kansas City Chiefs’ performance showed a drastic decline in the last season as the team failed to make it to the playoffs for the first time in over a decade. With just 6 wins and 11 losses, the Chiefs recorded a pretty poor run on the field. Ahead of the new season, the team seems focused on fixing the roster.
Kansas City Chiefs tipped to target former Miami Dolphins’ star player, Tyreek Hill
A few hours ago, CBS Sports’ Bryan DeArdo predicted that there is a chance that the Kansas City Chiefs could make a move for their former player, Tyreek Hill.CBS Sports’ Bryan DeArdo noted in a recent report, “It’s been a quiet offseason for Hill, who is still working his way back from last year’s horrific, season-ending knee injury. At age 32 and coming off a major injury, Hill’s best chance at playing this season might be back in Kansas City in a complementary role.”CBS Sports’ Bryan DeArdo added, “The Chiefs aren’t lacking at receiver, but can you really ever have too many wideouts in today’s NFL? The answer is no, which is one reason why a Hill-Chiefs reunion is likely. Hill’s rapport with Patrick Mahomes doesn’t hurt, either.”However, the Kansas City Chiefs have not responded to the trade talks concerning Tyreek Hill yet as he remains unsigned. The 32 year old popular wide receiver has always been a force to be reckoned with on the field but his injuries have remained brutal in the last few seasons.Last season, in Week 4, Tyreek Hill suffered a dislocated left knee and tore multiple ligaments, including his ACL, which made him unavailable for the rest of the season. Before the injury, Tyreek Hill ended up playing in just 4 games as he recorded 21 receptions for 265 yards and 1 touchdown. In February, Tyreek Hill was released by the Miami Dolphins as reports suggest that he might miss the first few matches of the next season as well.Unfortunately, Tyreek Hill was also brutally injured in the 2024 season even though he continued playing through a severe, lingering wrist injury sustained in the summer.Tyreek Hill finished the 2024 season with 81 receptions for 959 yards and 6 touchdowns in 17 games. For now, all eyes are on where Tyreek Hill ends up in the next season as he works through his recovery.
