BHOPAL: In a disturbing incident, a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl, whom he allegedly raped and was arrested for last year, only to be granted bail recently, were found dead under mysterious circumstances in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district on Wednesday.Their lifeless bodies were found hanging from the same tree in a field, the police said, adding that both had reportedly been missing from their respective homes on Feb 24.Jitendra Dhakad of Madanpur was arrested Nov 8, 2025, after the girl vanished. Villagers spotted the bodies near Guda Road. Police sent them for postmortem, probing call records and movements amid all angles, suspecting post-bail contact.
