Lisa Müller reveals truth about WAG label after Thomas Müller Vancouver Whitecaps move and dressage career success | International Sports News
Life as a football WAG may look shiny from the outside, but Lisa Müller says the truth feels very different. Lisa Müller, the wife of German football star Thomas Müller, has opened up about how people judge her. In an interview with German outlet Bild, she shared how hard it has been to be seen as more than just “Thomas Müller’s wife.” Even though she is a successful professional dressage rider, many people still put her in a small box.“At first, I tried for a long time to fight against it and say: I’m more than that, I can ride. Now I don’t care anymore,” she said.Lisa, 36, has won major events, including the Stuttgart Masters in 2019. Yet she admits people often assume she is less smart before even speaking to her. “It’s sometimes quite amusing. I’m always considered the dumbest person in the room,” she added. “Sometimes it’s nice to be considered the silly one, then you can impress people more when they talk to you.” Her words show that being married to a global football name does not always feel glamorous.
