Megastar Amitabh Bachchan turned emotional as he mourned the loss of a “very dear friend”. The veteran actor took to his personal blog on Thursday to share a heartfelt note remembering his late friend and the bond they shared. In his emotional message, Amitabh described his friend as someone who always found a solution even in the toughest situations and carried immense warmth and humour.

The veteran actor took to his personal blog on Thursday to share a heartfelt note remembering his late friend and the bond they shared.In his emotional message, Amitabh described his friend as someone who always found a solution even in the toughest situations and carried immense warmth and humour.“Lost another very dear friend… one filled with immense affection and humour,” Amitabh wrote in his blog.Recalling his friend’s personality, the actor added that he was someone who could handle any situation with a calm smile. “A force to reckon with in any situation… always finding a way out of the most difficult… a smile on his face ever… just cannot imagine he is gone… one by one they all leave,” he wrote, expressing his grief.Soon after the post surfaced online, fans filled the comment section with condolences and messages of support for the veteran actor.

Amitabh has often used his blog to reflect on personal memories and to pay tribute to friends and colleagues from the film industry. Last year, when veteran actor Dharmendra passed away, the megastar had penned a long and emotional tribute remembering their association.In his note at the time, Amitabh had written, “Dharam ji, the epitome of greatness, ever linked not only for his renowned physical presence, but for the largeness of his heart and its most endearing simplicity.”He had further added that Dharmendra carried the “earthiness of the village in Punjab he came from” and remained true to his temperament throughout his long and celebrated career in the film industry.

On the work front, Amitabh was last seen in the Tamil-language action drama Vettaiyan, directed by T. J. Gnanavel and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah. The film also featured a star-studded cast including Rajinikanth, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati. The veteran actor will next be seen in the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD directed by Nag Ashwin. He is also expected to appear in Brahmastra Part Two: Dev, the sequel to the fantasy drama directed by Ayan Mukerji.
