‘Anupamaa’ December 29 written update

The episode starts off with Rahi confessing to her mother that she feels a bit jealous and wary of Prerna and her presence in their life. Anupama, however, reassures and comforts her daughter that there is nothing wrong with the girl and that she should not be worried. Rahi smiles, accepting her words; however, she also requests her mother not to call Prerna ‘P’, citing that she only wants her nickname to be this short and sweet.

Anupama helps Bharti prepare for her pre-wedding ceremony

The scene shifts to Anupama and all of the chawl members helping Bharti prepare for her pre-wedding ceremony. Everyone is seen smiling and laughing with each other as they help her try on bangles. Bharti sings a song on everyone’s request. As she starts, everyone around her is seen getting emotional and remembering all of the moments that they have shared with the girl.

Varun gets into an altercation with his mother

Rajni still has not been able to get Anupama’s signature on the redevelopment papers, leaving her son, Varun, angry and agitated. With preparations for his wedding with Bharti going in full force, he confronts his mother about everything. Anupama invites Rajni to the ceremonies, leaving her angry and irritated, thinking about how kind Anupama is to the people around her, no matter who and what the situation is. She also looks back and thinks about how her daughter should not attend the wedding because there is a high chance that she would reveal the truth to Anupama. Ansh reaches out to Anupama to show her all that he has bought for his soon-to-be-born baby. Anupama smiles as she looks on through the phone screen, promising that she will be there to visit when his baby is born.

Rahi shares a moment with Prem

Rahi gets agitated and confesses her feelings to her husband. He reassures her and helps her deal with her emotions as the two share a romantic moment. Prem apologises, and the two playfully banter around.
