Formula E enjoyed a thrilling Season 11, which kicked off in December last year but had most of its races take place across 2025, before culminating in a grand finale in July. As the year draws to a close, Formula E’s official social media handle has shared a recap of the most memorable moments from the season. Nissan driver Oliver Rowland emerged as the World Champion in Season 11, but drivers like Dan Ticktum and Taylor Barnard also made headlines by achieving their first-ever race wins. Here’s a look at some of the standout moments from the season gone by.

Formula E’s standout moments in 2025

Formula E shared a carousel of images on Instagram with the caption, “2025 camera roll.” The first picture fittingly features Season 11 title winner Oliver Rowland celebrating his championship triumph. It is followed by an image of Dan Ticktum, who clinched the first victory of his Formula E career in Jakarta.Another highlight includes a moment from the Jaguar Racing camp. Mitch Evans continued to represent the team, while Nick Cassidy switched to the new team Citroen Racing, after a stunning run of three consecutive race wins last season. Cassidy finished second in the Formula E World Championship.Taylor Barnard also earned a place in the 2025 camera roll after securing his first-ever Formula E podium at the Sao Paulo E-Prix, which marked his debut race as a full-time driver with NEOM McLaren. Mahindra Racing’s Edoardo Mortara also found a place in the camera roll, having delivered two consecutive podium finishes, first in Jakarta and then in Berlin.

All about Formula E Season 11 and 12

Season 11 showcased the true potential of the GEN3 Evo cars, which not only surpassed other race cars in terms of top speed but also set new standards for sustainability in motorsport. Although Oliver Rowland had largely cemented his World Championship well before the finale, the title battle briefly intensified when Nick Cassidy surged with three consecutive victories late in the season.TAG Heuer Porsche ultimately claimed both the Teams’ and Manufacturers’ World Championships, underlining their dominance across the campaign.Season 12 has already begun, kicking off in Sao Paulo, where Andretti rookie Felipe Drugovich drove the Andretti GEN3 Evo on the runway of the Sao Paulo International Airport.
