Bokaro District Prepares for Safe Chhath Celebrations with Barricades and Crowd Control

Bokaro: Barricades are being installed across all major Chhath ghats, ponds, and rivers in Bokaro district to ensure the safety of devotees. The administration issued strict directives for crowd control, safety, and smooth management of the crowd. DC Ajay Nath Jha on Sunday asked all SDOs, BDOs, circle officers and police officers to review the preparedness and law-and-order situation. Special instructions have been issued to barricade deep-water areas with bamboo and ropes. Police forces, divers, and NDRF teams will be stationed at each ghat. The DC also directed the installation of proper lighting, drinking water, and medical support at all Chhath sites to handle emergencies.In Chas subdivision, 63 magistrates and police personnel will be deployed, while 86 officials will be stationed in Bermo. Warning boards marking danger and deep-water zones are being set up by the District Information Office.DC Jha appealed to residents to celebrate Chhath with devotion, discipline, and cleanliness, following all safety guidelines for a peaceful observance.
