The star, who is now a NASCAR race driver, recently delved into one of the most legendary race car drivers of all time, Dale Earnhardt. In a documentary that has been released to honor the racer who passed away in 2001 after an accident, Muniz opened up about his experiences as a driver himself, and how, back then, he was one of the last people to speak to the racer before his untimely demise.

Recently, a documentary titled ‘We’ve Lost Dale Earnhardt: 25 Years Later’ was released in remembrance of the famed driver. During one of the segments of the film, actor and NASCAR driver Frankie Munz opened up about his connection with Earnhardt and what it was like to be around him. He even revealed that he was one of the last people to talk to him before his untimely demise in the accident. He shared that Earnhardt was known as ‘The Intimidator’; however, he was extremely nice to Muniz at the time, and the two had a sweet conversation before he had to get on the race track. He further shared, “He was extremely friendly to me, and I remember he said, ‘I have to say thank you to you… because your show has brought me and my daughter closer together.’ He’s like, ‘It’s something that we turn on Sunday nights and we watch together. Another thing he told me was, you know, ‘Enjoy it, enjoy the run, because you never know when it’s gonna end.’”He then concluded by recalling that he was one of the last people to talk to him, probably, and was standing right beside his crew when the crash happened.

Dale Earnhardt was a famed NASCAR race driver and was considered one of the best of his time. On February 18, 2001, during one of his races at the Daytona 500, Earnhardt got into a severe last-lap crash. The incident resulted in him facing major injuries, which ultimately took his life.
