Investigative operations near Nancy Guthrie’s home intensify
Late Friday, more than a dozen law enforcement vehicles, including SWAT and forensic teams, were seen at a residence about two miles from Guthrie’s home. Roads were shut down and reopened roughly four hours later.At the same time, authorities investigated a gray or silver Range Rover in a Tucson restaurant parking lot. The vehicle was towed after being examined for several hours. Officers covered the license plate, removed items for photographs, and at one point held up a sheet to block the view into the trunk.The driver was detained for questioning and taken from the scene. It remains unclear whether that person is still in custody. At least three people were detained Friday evening, but no suspects have been publicly identified.
