Sherrone Moore is at the center of a troubling moment after new police body cam video came out. The footage shows the former Michigan football coach crying while officers place him in handcuffs during his arrest on December 10 in Michigan. The video, obtained by TMZ Sports, shows Moore sitting inside a black SUV in a church parking lot when police walk up and ask him to keep his hands outside the window. From the start, he looks shaken. When officers tell him to step out of the car, he begins to cry and says he should not be handcuffed because of a bad shoulder.As the situation unfolds, Moore is placed in the back of a police car. During that moment, he tells an officer he had just lost his job. When the officer responds with sympathy, Moore quietly says, “That’s part of life, I guess. They wanted to fire me anyways.” His voice sounds tired and emotional. The video gives a clear look at how serious things had become, both in his personal life and his career.

I got a beautiful family, kids.”Police then search him and ask if there is anything inside his car. Moore tells them there is a pair of scissors in the vehicle.This arrest came after serious accusations. Moore had already been fired from Michigan over what officials called an inappropriate relationship with staff member Paige Shiver. Reports say he went to her home and confronted her. During that incident, authorities say he made threats about harming himself while holding butter knives and scissors.Moore’s wife, Kelli Moore, called the police and told them he had threatened to take his own life. That call led to the police response and his arrest.At first, Moore faced serious charges, including felony home invasion and stalking, along with misdemeanor charges. But earlier this month, he reached a deal in court. He pleaded no contest to two lesser charges — misuse of an electronic communication device in a domestic situation and trespassing.His sentencing is now set for April 14.As for Paige Shiver, she is no longer working at Michigan. Her lawyer has said that a lawsuit against both Moore and the university could still happen.
