Ranchi: CM Hemant Soren on Friday launched the Abua Dishom Budget Portal and its mobile app, and asked the public and subject matter experts to send their suggestions for making this year’s state budget.“The foundation of a strong state is built not just through schemes but through public participation. With this belief, the state govt is continuously working towards implementing an inclusive budget in the state with public participation,” Hemant said.He directed the finance department to begin such a drive in advance to encourage more participation. “The suggestion-seeking drive should begin from Nov 15 so that public participation from remote areas of the state can also be ensured in the budget formulation,” he said.To give suggestions, one can log on to https://finance.gov.in/budgetvichar or download the Dishom Budget app from the Play Store on their Android mobiles or the App Store for iPhones, officials said.“After entering the page, one has to punch their mobile number and email ID to register by generating a one-time password. After the process, they can provide their views/suggestions/comments for the budget, department-wise as per their choice,” an official said. The top three suggestion providers will be honoured, the official said.He added, “The last date for sending suggestions is fixed on January 17. Suggestions, especially related to revenue enhancement from the general public, can be an important contribution to strengthening the state economically.”
